EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL LAW
In this field in which the firm is instructed by both employers and employees, the work concentrates on all matters of individual employment law. BDKD assists its clients in all matters of the arrangement, implementation, termination and handling of employment relationships both as legal advisors and as representatives in Court, e. g. in dismissal protection proceedings. One of the core areas in this context is changes in the object of an enterprise.
Wherever a permanent establishment is to be dissolved or relocated, or working hours or the organisation of work are to be changed, or operations are to be sold, BDKD assists its clients as legal advisors and in Court proceedings. In this context, the enforcement of client interests includes all Court instances up to the Federal Labour Court.
Apart from that, BDKD also works in selected areas of social law, not only as an accessory to employment law. One area worth mentioning here is the right of handicapped people to rehabilitation and participation (Book IX of the German Social Insurance Code). Our clients in the field of employment law in many cases come from the medium-sized sector. In addition, BDKD advises and represents corporate bodies under public law in all matters of employment law, notably in all relevant matters concerning the rights of employees in the public sector.
